early beginnings…

Leah grew up on the east coast of New South Wales, surrounded by oceans, beaches, and forests. Her childhood was shaped by curiosity, creativity, and a strong sense of exploration, influenced by her parents’ love of adventure.

From an early age, she was drawn to music and performance, beginning piano and dance at five, classical singing at eleven, and adding guitar and drama by thirteen. Alongside her musical interests, she pursued horse riding, visual arts, reading, and writing, developing a broad and imaginative perspective. A fascination with storytelling and character continues to inform her approach to performance.

Through participation in local plays, musicals, concerts, and eisteddfods, Leah developed confidence, discipline, and a strong connection to the stage. These early experiences laid the foundation for her path into opera and musical theatre, shaping the musical and dramatic instincts she continues to develop today.
